FCast: Unsupported features

Issue tracking unsupported FCast features/behaviors due to limitations

webOS Receiver

• Listing for casting connections on boot: Not possible unless device is rooted. User must first start application once and suspend to background in order for service to listen for connections
• Playback speed adjustment not supported (in hardware, works in simulator. tested on webOS 24 hardware device): https://webostv.developer.lge.com/develop/specifications/streaming-protocol-drm#streaming-consideration
  • DASH and HLS: not supported at all
  • HTML: Video speed adjustment works, audio does not however
• Generic content viewing is not supported (pdf, text, etc..., tested on webOS 24 hardware)

Tizen OS Receiver

• Listing for casting connections on boot: Background service autostart functionality was removed from early versions of Tizen OS
