Show some information when no circle or group is selected

Device: iPad

When I view the Circles/People/Groups/Photos tab when in portrait orientation, all the screens are blank and look as below:

The user can expand the sidebar to view additional information to create new groups/circles, but opening the app to a blank screen may confuse some people.
